Tom Gauditiabois is a young and talented winemaker very promising. He has been managing the family estate since the end of 2015, about 7 hectares of vines near Chézy-sur-Marne in the western part of the Marne Valley.
After completing his studies in Avize and an "oenological" trip to New Zealand, he began his training for more than two years at the Jacques Selosse estate.
At present, its operational headquarters are located in Epernay, although the future project is to install the winery next to its own vineyards in Chézy-sur-Marne.
In the meantime, Tom wants to make new ephemeral cuvées every year in order to better know and promote his terroir.
For the moment, the reference grape variety for the first vinifications is Pur Meunier with an initial production in 2020 (vintage 2016) which has only been printed in 500 copies. Impressive first wines! Be continued…
